Tossed out a flash fiction story to an anthology, got back an acceptance today. It’s been a very long time since I’ve gotten one of those. Not a big market or any pay, but it is a fun little vampire anthology, one story for each day of the year.
Still waiting to hear back on potential car trade-in arrangements. No word from the bank. Nissan offered a car that was more than we wanted. Still looking for something cheaper. Still listed on Craigslist, though I really don’t think that’s going to go anywhere at this point. We’ll figure it out though. Hopefully without too many more random letters from banks telling us they aren’t approving a loan we didn’t know we’d applied for.
Elbow hurts today, but shoulders and such are all feeling pretty good. Trying to get back to mostly raw again, but I like warm food and it’s heading into fall again. Eating as much salad as I can manage, though. And wheatgrass juice a few times a week. The change in weather has my head and lungs all confused this week, too.
Really looking forward to the next two weekends with friends. Life is good.
