Not feeling well, so this’ll be a short post.

Finished my Database Driven Websites workshop on Sunday, got 100% on it. Was fun, learned new things. Learned even more new things about databases the next day. Yay databases!

One more week plus a couple days for my Organization class. Semester nearly complete!

Need to take time for me this weekend, stressing out too much over things I cannot control.

Got new meds from the doc this week, too. Sulfasalazine (generic of Azulfidine) and a anti-inflammatory compound. We shall see if these help.

How is it almost May already?

80s over lastย weekend, and snow on Tuesday. What fun! We’re back into the 60s today, and beautiful weather. Ohio is definitely exciting… or something like that. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Watched a couple new (to me) movies over the weekend. Watched The Philadelphia Story and Kinky Boots with friends, both very good and very entertaining. Then went to see Captain America Winter Soldier by myself. Also a very good movie. Though debate rages over whether I should watch SHIELD episodes.

Started my database driven website workshop this week. Learning new things about Access and SQL. All is good. ๐Ÿ™‚ only just over two weeks left in the semester. Excited for the summer. They say the bill will be arriving next week. Once again, gratitude to my parents for their assistance in this new chapter in my life.

On the gaming front, I lost my character on Tuesday. Time to test out a new combination in the new system next week. And I’m considering returning to World of Warcraft – as a more social alternative to the hours I spend watching Netflix. We shall see.

Hope everyone is having a good week, and has a Happy Easter on Sunday!

I’ve got to slow down. I keep forgetting things. I put a sign on my door earlier this week that says: Slow Down. Take a Breath. Do you have Everything you Need? Are you Sure? ย Didn’t forget all the things I needed for today, so I guess it helped. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today went well. Good thoughts and positive vibes and fingers crossed. An exciting possibility is in the works.

Enjoying another week with only one class. I start my Database driven Websites workshop this weekend. Get to learn more about Access, SQL, and ColdFusion. ๐Ÿ™‚ Should be fun!

Had a nice gaming party with friends this past weekend. Went very well. Had a great time. A bit of hanging out planned for this weekend. And possibly an early matinee of Captain America.

Also, having finished The Third Kingdom by Terry Goodkind (still need to read The First Confessor), I started a new Heinlein book this week: For Us, The Living. About a third of the way through. Spider Robinson is definitely right in his introduction – it’s not a novel per se, more of essays on Heinlein’s views that shaped the rest of his books. Enjoying it anyway, it is very thoughtful.

Updated a handful of passwords thanks to newly announced internet bug. FTP no longer likes me, but it’s dinner time, so I’ll figure that out later. ๐Ÿ™‚

A wet and windy week here in Ohio. Much better than the ice and snow folks are getting way up north. So, I’ll take it.

Had a great time celebrating a birthday with friends this past weekend. Pub food and card games made for an excellent night. Did some sewing with another friend on Sunday. Was nice and relaxing.

Went to a Digitization Interest Group meeting on Monday. Met a good handful of people and listened to a couple really interesting presentations. Yay, networking!

Started our new Undermountain campaign last night, with brand new characters. We’re testing out the latest revision of Legacy of Heroes. Might have a Skeeter-narrated post soon about that.

This weekend is our April party – board game themed in honor of national board game day ion Saturday. So, spending the weekend setting up, having fun and cleaning up.

Registered for two of my fall classes on Sunday night, as well. The fall workshops aren’t listed yet, so waiting on that. Looks like one of my classes is the full 15 weeks, and the other is the usual 10.

Down to one class for these first couple weeks of April, then my database website workshop. The syllabus looks interesting – almost all new stuff for me to learn about. ๐Ÿ™‚
