Fall has finally fallen, though it is, of course, warmer this week than it has been recently. The leaves are turning, the pumpkin spice and apple cider flow. We had our fall party last night, it was nice and relaxed. The week was pretty quiet. Did not get the job, but applied for a couple others. My car hit 200,000 miles this week as well.

I did, finally finish the Robert Jordan. Now I’m trying out a new Robin Hobb: Ship of Fools. The narrator has a quiet, soft voice, and I haven’t quite figured out what’s going on, yet. Currently watching the newest Alien movie.

Hope everyone had a good week, and more to come.

It has been a fairly quiet week. The library is getting back to school year rhythm. Though there were a lot more kids yesterday during the day than expected, and a whole ton after school let out. One of our biggest Friday after-school snack days. The boss is back at Sprawl, for a bit, and I’m chugging away at the Glen Cook paperbacks.

I did have an interview this week, which I’ll hear back from soon. Super excited about the opportunity. Even got a haircut.

New, short haircut.

Was happy to get back to gaming this week, and get my curiosity back. Also, playing a lot of Kingdom Hearts this week because I got the Remix for my birthday. It’s still fun after all these years. On the reading front, I’m slowly working my way through Towers of Midnight, for another week. It’s a LONG one.

It was a nice long weekend of relaxing and not accomplishing much beyond laundry. I did drop off my car to get it fixed, but most of the work was done after the holiday, and now my car drives smooth as ever. Yay!

All the schools have started up again, so my mornings at the library are pretty quiet. We’re reorganizing some of our sections to see if we can up the check-out rates in audio books.  At Sprawl, I’m getting back into Glen Cook’s collection, while Mowgli sorts books he sent back from his WorldCon trip to Europe.

Coming up is some time with the puppy, and some playing of Kingdom Hearts remastered on the PS4. But first, I’m going to a conference tomorrow: 2017 ASIS&T Midwest Regional Conference.

I finished The Republic of Thieves, and Maurice and His Educated Rodents. Now I’m into Towers of Midnight. I’ll finish The Wheel of Time some day soonish, just one more after this.
