After a week of baking and preparation, I have had a very nice Christmas weekend. I got lots of cookies in the cookie swap, and this week, I shared them with a group of friends. I cooked up my usual Chex/Crispix mix and shared it with my gaming friends. I exchanged presents with a few good friends, and soaps with a few old friends. I got to visit Alyssa and Noah and then Alyssa and I got to visit Erika and her little one. (Alyssa and I even when to Frank’s for lunch.) I even got to have dinner with Erika, the little one, and Brian. Christmas Eve and Day, I got to spend with my favorite puppy, make a Christmas roast, and eat all sorts of cookies. 😉 On the Eve, I watched Die Hard and Die Harder, Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. (It amuses me that there is only one movie between Return and Last.) 😉
In the library field, I only work two days this week before visiting my brother on Thursday (hopefully), and gaming all weekend. (And Chewy.com’s commercial’s doorbell just set off the Ralphie.) I have four applications out, in various stages of consideration. Full-time job in the new year <fingers crossed>.
As for books, I listened to I am Malala last week. This week, I started Mists of Avalon, and for my long drives, I’ve got Summer Knight keeping me company.
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a safe New Year.
Hope you have a great 2018.
